We are a civil and geotechnical engineering firm that specializes in earth retention solutions. That’s a fancy way of saying we create designs for projects that deal with dirt. Sometimes they need more dirt, and sometimes they need less dirt.  The end result is – more usable space.

MEET THE TEAM

Kyle Huerd P.E.
Kyle joined the US Army directly out of high school where he served a 6-year contract.  During his military service, Kyle was deployed and served in multiple regions around the world.  While serving overseas, he was injured due to combat and decided to begin his career in engineering.  After receiving a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Duluth (GO BULLDOGS!!!), Kyle began his engineering career working for a world leader in Segmental Retaining Walls. After 6 years of experience in designing thousands of segmental retaining walls around the world, Kyle founded GeoWall Designs to combine his military leadership skills with the 1st in class service he had picked up in the retaining wall industry.  He looks to continue challenging himself, staff, and colleagues to raise the bar on geotechnical engineering. Kyle enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their three children.  They like to spend countless hours in the outdoors whether that is walking around their neighborhood or spending a long weekend at the cabin!
